I think I do too. My turn, today.

Well, I wrote some starman. Going fine. I've got a new grip on it, maybe. Maybe not, but it's still good. I'll put a smidge of it on here.
I walked over to the room with the units, getting ready to find my number. There was something eerily real about this, but all misconceptions could be wiped away when you heard the faint footsteps, voices, and vehicles from the floor above. Could stop your imagination dead in it’s tracks. I checked my practice unit, glancing at the black and white diagrams on the manual in my hand. This was work. This was how the humans worked. I looked around me, seeing the focused people. There were five more teams like this, doing the same. But no more than that. The repetitive characters on the page seemed to whirl around in my head, leaving me to decide to stick to my intuition. I wasn’t half bad. The thing was running fine when  I was done. I could of taken it apart and put it back together again- with a look at the pictures, of coarse.
“I’ve finished. All in working order.” I cocked my head with a smile. I remember the old life support units I tried making myself, as a kid. I’d helped design some components, nothing too big though.
“Looks all right.” A man inspected it, looking through all the bells and whistles.
“Parsons, isn’t it?”
“Yeah, yeah.  I’m the life support specialist, for this team at least.” He nodded, eyes fixed on the machine. “Everything’s in order. I’ve checked you off- you can go in the other room with the rest of ‘em.” He gestured to the other room, and I decided to just follow the voices behind the next door.
“How is it?”
“Aw, it’s fine, really... Nothing too exciting.” Davies was leaning against the wall, talking to Darell.
“The carpet isn’t hip enough?”
“I do miss my old shag carpet, you know.”
“That old thing?” Darel laughed loudly, putting her hands in her pockets. She turned around, raising her eyebrows. “Oh- Donatello.”
“You finished before me?”

Well, that's it for you. I have an overweight cat that resembles a muffin next to me. It is pretty awesome. I'm kind of disapointed that the CD I borrowed from the library only has the first half of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. I guess I'll just have to buy the other half XD I think I really like the 13th track. I need to buy it sometime. Sadly, I used up all my itunes credit from giftcards and the like... I'll put more in, I've got some quarters.
