ANYWAYS, Here is my Ziggy. He's getting a bacground with more contrast than his face. That's a problem, but it's a work in progress. Lower the contrast of the background, make it all match and then brighten up his face with a couple of gradient layer modes. His hair is looking fantastic, anyways. Now it has to match the odd lighting I have going on XD

 Look who's introduced me to the magic of stereographs XD
He's brilliant. I want to read his book on them, though I probably won't understand it quite right for a few years.
The only research done on them. Brian May is quite fantastic.

His hair turned out lovely. It needs a few random strands and texture to make it look more real, but it does look good. Best hair I've ever done, and it wasn't too hard.
I SHOULD DRAW A STEREOGRAPH! OF BRIAN MAY! For his birthday- Well, thought it would be in May, but it's in July.
I'm tired, that's the time I usually rave about guitarists with a lot of exclamation points. GROOVY.

Just teaching my headless friend how to stand

 This was a day of progress, though I nearly got yet another cut, this time on my thumb. Only got part of my cuticle, no blood.
AND HE CAN ALMOST STAND! If I hold his knees, or his arms. I made temporary feet, and they don't even work. But they are okay for a temporary place holder. I also did more Ziggy painting- AND MY LAST DIGITAL DRAWING OF HIM IS NOW THE FIFTH RESULT FOR ZIGGY STARDUST ON GOOGLE IMAGES =D (Second for safe search- gets stuck on there when I'm on the school's network). Well, that's all for today.

THE ELBOW

CHECK OUT DEM ELBOWS. Double jointed and all. He can bend his lower arm to almost touching his upper arm and hold that position- Pretty good in my opinion. I just have to find the missing shoulder from the other side and make another. That one piece caused me to cut my fingers three times. One was a bit deep, and I now have blood on my floor. Too dull to cut through clay properly but sharp enough to inflict a good amount of pain. AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT.

You may be wondering why I havn't posted in the last couple of days. You may be. You probably wern't but let's assume you were for this.
There was a reason.
Assuming that, it all started when I put olive oil in a bowl. There was a reason for that, but with the frame of mind I am in now it seems quite frivolous. And may not be suitable for my blog. Well, actually that was all in my dream last night- And frankly, that oil looked and tasted a lot like butter.
It all really started when I was- Well, I was going to think of something entertaining, but I won't.
That event exactly.
LAZINESS. It consumed me. Well, not quite laziness, but I just didn't feel it necessary. But I did it today. That's all that matters. For all you know, I could of posted them, and then deleted them. But I wouldn't do that. I have never deleted a word after it was posted. Though I did delete a couple of pictures at the beginning- I was proud of them, and then a couple months later thought they were stupid and that someone would actually see them. Me. My own foolish pride. But really, all my stuff from back then looks equally stupid and brings joy to my eyelids. And where ever else joy happens to go.
Meanwhile, I have a prototype for a double elbow joint- Except I was lazy and decided to try and microwave the polymer clay (in a bowl of covered water, of coarse) and it is very fragile and does not look aesthetically pleasing. I'm working on another.

MONEY DOLLAR BILLS

I had a strange dream last night. It was on a space ship. In secret. OH YEAH.
It wasn't quite as exciting as it sounds by the description. But it was odd. And will not be included in my novel.
I burnt my hand with tea.
I also finished the project that was hanging over me the past few weeks. It was easier than I wanted it to be, but that's all I had time for.

It was sunny today, for about thirty minuets. I was so happy. Euphoric. Like walking in a field of pastel blues and yellows, bitter crunches beneath your feet and you find fat cats, and all the personas of David Bowie. That is Euphoria, my friend.
And macha tea. Don't forget that.
And my finals went well. Fantastically so.
I have a fluffy cat. It is fluffy. I should sleep now.

TEA TIME.

Well, I finished the second season of Legend of Korra. I heard it wasn't as good as the first, but I thought it was pretty good. The conclusion was weak, didn't like how she got out of touch with the past avatars and only with the avatar spirit introduced a few episodes prior (good bye to aang who started the show), but other than that it was fine. Loved the story about the first avatar. I was expecting to hear about Lin Beifong, though- But I guess they'll save that for the next season. Meanwhile, my comic for language arts is pretty good. I'll probably have to cut down on my other project to make it for the semester, but oh well.
That's my ranting for the day, over the squeezed remains from a second hand tea bag. One of my last jasmine ones, too- Yet still brewed to light perfection.
And my tubby cat friend likes peanut butter.

JUST WORKIN' ON MY SCHOOLWORKS.

I read The Fifth Beatle again. Twice today. I LOVE THAT BOOK =D
But now I have to do a project on it. BUT I CAN DRAW!
But I'm already drawing for a project.

This is what happens when you swallow too much toothpaste over the course of a lifetime. This can easilly be prevented by taking safe measures, such as rinsing your mouth with diluted rubbing alcohol each morning or not engaging in dental hygene activities all together. 

This is Arnold Williams. Or was, however. He swallowed too much toothpaste and now is living in a rehab center- Though rehabilitation from such a state is close to impossible. Each morning his food is fed to him through a straw, and has to be both gluten free and at least 80% seaweed. His hair is shaved every two months and is donated to various fields of research. Scientists say it is harvested from former Arnold Williams with his consent, but communication is confusing since he can only vocalise through his nostrils. He has been suspended in this state for 35 years, but you probably havn't heard of them. The toothpaste industry didn't want the news to get out, so they bribed the FDA. So you havn't heard until now. Please don't endanger your health- Abstain from brushing your teeth more than once a week.

Well, I made some progresses today. I successfully made 1:6 scale pants.
Been a while since I worked on this guy XD His hair looks awful right now, in the middle of cutting it, and it's wet. But he's got some awesome pants, with a belt. Belt needs a buckle, but oh well.
I don't remember his face looking this good- For it's size, it has great detail. Think I'll tone down the eye makeup though.

It's David Bowie's birthday, and this is how far I got- Not much of a change from yesterday, couldn't get the eyelashes right and then proceeded to "waste time"- But I agree with Lennon, time enjoyed is not wasted.
But I didn't get anything done XD
So, it's David Bowie's 67th birthday, famed founder of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Long Haired Men. Also quite fantastic at playing dress up.

GUESS WHAT- DAVID BOWIE'S BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW. And the drawing I drew for that last year can be seen as one of the top image results when you search Ziggy Stardust on google.

And here's the next one. Might have to lower the hair, see how it goes. And that face is turning out a bit fantastic.
Just have to make the hand look like the rest. The coloring got changed on me.

YEAH. THIS IS WHAT I'VE GOT SO FAR. Not so bad for a short amount of time. Just sketched it, scanned it in and started coloring. Been looking at some brilliant tutorials. His expression is a little off from my original vision, but I'll fix that. Make the mouth slightly narrower, ease some of the darkness under the brows, then I'll do his makeup. YEAH. Then there's the hand, and the hair... But my cat is a muffin, and that is that.

THE THING IS, when I get tired brilliant things come to mind, but I have no way of converting them into a useful form. PH IS PHRIEND.

I like this. Yeah. I like that color, too. LOOK AT IT! Pure magic.

HAPPY NEW FACE.

Well, got sculpting done- Have to start somewhere XD This is what I've got so far.

Yeah. Fully articulateble, man. I think I'll start on (one of) the head soon. I have to wait a while until the stuff I'm using for the finished joints to come in. Working on the mechanics, then I'll work on the aesthetics. That will be fantastic- At least the limbs will. Limbs are easy, hands and feet are delightful when you get them right, head is always fun but this torso will be tricky. I can see it getting tiring. Too much space to work with at once. And my elbow joints are positively AWFUL, my hip joints are not really operatable at the moment, but I still have the shoulders and knees. Those are fantastic.
